Chalkboard Vinyl

Banner has been wanting a Calendar from the Pottery Barn Catalog for quite some time.
I decided it would be much cheaper to make it ourselves(go figure). I started with a 12x24 inch square of Chalkboard vinyl. Banner wanted the spaces to be big enough to write a few events on each day. I let her pick the shapes and then I sized them to fit our page. The blade setting did not cut deep enough the first time, so I had to load the vinyl and cut again. I forgot to take my transfer paper with me, so I just peeled the vinyl and applied it directly to the wall.
Since getting my Silhouette in December, I've realized the possibilities are endless. I haven't tried to cut fabric yet, but I think my next project may have too.
Here she is, my new little buddy. I can't go anywhere with out her.
It's quite the setup. I can't wait to share the many projects that will come from this. Hopefully, Stacy will be sharing a few soon.
